Overview

I offer psychodynamic individual psychotherapy for a wide spectrum of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma and neglect. Sessions are 45 minutes long and occur weekly. Together, we create a cognitive map of your emotional challenges so that confusing and painful emotions begin to make sense. From there, we develop a plan to address them and explore their roots, balancing immediate relief with lasting change.

Our work involves uncovering and transforming long-standing beliefs formed by past experiences into compassionate and balanced attitudes toward yourself. Through this process, you’ll cultivate self-acceptance while realistically assessing any ongoing limitations in body, mind, and spirit.

The therapeutic journey aims to inspire hope, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose while equipping you with practical tools for achieving your life goals.

Modalities of Treatment Include:

  • Relational Psychoanalysis
  • Existential and Gestalt Interventions
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-Informed Approaches

You will receive concrete steps for recognizing and nurturing aspects of yourself that may not have received adequate care or attention. Through daily self-care practices and emotional growth, we rebuild and strengthen these inner foundations.

In the last decade, I’ve focused my private practice on addressing the connection between chronic pain and the cycle of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness that often accompanies it. By integrating psychotherapy with mind-body practices, clients learn to interrupt this cycle and experience real relief.

This approach also explores how emotional pain and physical pain intertwine, using mindfulness, movement, and psychoanalytic techniques to facilitate healing. Clients develop greater confidence, emotional regulation, and self-care skills to live freely—without the burden of invisible suffering.
